Grey Seal of Approval
I usually know upon completion of a new design
whether it will work for Greys and toy shy birds. Regardless of my
conclusion, I still give our Greys the opportunity to check out all new toys
being added to their category. This is because occasionally they prove
me wrong and this happens to be one of those occasions. Surprisingly
enough two of our four accepted this toy upon introduction and immediately
began playing with it. I would still probably err on the side of caution
here and recommended it for more confident Greys. Now on to the description... Kaleidoscope
is approximately 22" in length and packed with lots of easy-to-chew
wood. The body of this toy is soft colored pine and is strung on
stainless steel wire. The wire goes completely through the body of the
toy keeping it intact until the last piece of wood is gone. For
interactive play, there is a pretty craft stick flower which spins freely,
along with a 2" bell for musical accompaniment (or for head scratching as
demonstrated in the photo above). Lots of colored dowels and small wood
beads provide plenty of chewing for busy beaks. The bottom of this toy
is strung on bird-safe Paulie Rope.

Mistletoe #3-82
Grey Seal of Approval
Mistletoe is made with a variety of durable, brightly
colored plastic parts most of which can be chewed with some effort.
Besides the opportunity to chew, Mistletoe has InterStar Rings that can spin
and the tubes can be pushed up and down on the Paulie Rope. The knots
are hidden and when the wiffle balls are gone, the tube slides down slightly
to continue to hide them and help to keep the toy intact. The overall
length of Mistletoe is 12"

Dream Weaver #3-81
Grey Seal of Approval
Dream Weaver is our first foray into shredding toys
and toys that mount on the side of the cage. Dream Weaver is approximately
12" long and 8" wide. It is made with lots of fun shredding
material and might prove helpful to those engaged in the battle of feather
plucking and mutilation. This toy is made primarily with Sea Grass
Products and also includes a cane ball for shredding, sisal rope for preening,
leather scrap and leather lace for gnawing . The shredding products in the
toy are all natural and free from chemicals or fumigation treatment. As
always, the leather is veggie tanned and formaldehyde-free and sisal is all
natural and unoiled. The hardware on this toy is Stainless Steel and the
2" washer make it easy to attach to cage bars without slipping through
during play.

Pipe Dreams #3-80
Grey Seal of Approval There are lots of fun things
to shred in our 16" Pipe Dreams, which consists of lots of birdie bagels in
various sizes (including a big fat 5" one), along with very colorful jumbo
craft sticks for birds who demand their wood fix. This toy is strung on
stainless steel wire, which keeps everything intact until the last piece is
chewed. All components on this toy move and spin for added interactive
activity. Last but not least is a 2" nickel bell for the musically
inclined.

Bare Bones #3-79
Bare Bones gets down to the heart of the
matter...easy-to-chew wood and LOTS of it. There are 136 wood components
(dowels, beads, hearts and squares) that make up this chewing
extravaganza. This toy is dye-free and uses the combination of edges and
shape to attract birds to it. This toy is approximately 12" long and
13" wide. It is strung on bird-safe Paulie Rope.

Just Desserts #3-78
Double
Grey Seal of Approval Just Desserts is a tasty toy
creation with a bunch of every bird's favorite part...POODLES. Birds seem
to find these Poodles irresistible with their easily chewed plastic and bumpy
texture. Coupled with the poodles are ridged whistling tubes, lots of
saucer rings and wiffle balls. This toy was a huge hit in our household
and was enjoyed by everyone. Just Desserts is approximately 11" long

Entrapment is a fun toy with lots of colorful
birdie bagels to chew and shred. There are lots of moving parts in this

Razzamatazz #3-76
Grey Seal of Approval We've adapted our Macaw
version of this toy so that the medium guys can enjoy the same fun plastic
parts. Razzamatazz is approximately 12" long and 13.5"
wide. It is strung on a sturdy boomerang which can be refilled with lots
of fun parts from our toy parts section. Razzamatazz has lots of Supersize
Alphabet letters, neon tube beads, wiffle balls and spin wheels to chew, as well
as fun mini nuts and bolts that can be manipulated.

Fuzzy Wuzzy #3-74
Grey Seal of Approval
This adorable preening toy is full of fuzzy
Supreme Cotton rope, which is ideal for preening. Preening toys have
been helpful in controlling feather plucking and anxiety in parrots. The
concept is to get them to work on the rope, rather than their feathers.
Supreme Cotton rope is superior for this purpose as there are no long threads
to contend with and birds just love to pull out the fuzzy short fibers.
I'm always cleaning "fuzz beards" off beaks at our house.
Besides rope to preen, there are jumbo beads and marbella rings to slide up
and down the chain and jumbo pony beads hanging at the bottom to beak.

Grey Seal of Approval
What a sinful delight this is for the
parrot that loves to chew! Lots of soft, bright colored pine, small
snack-size beads and some hardwood knobs will tease the pallet of any wood
loving bird. The stringing materials for this toy are Supreme Cotton
Rope and Paulie Rope. This toy is 14" long and 9"
wide.
