In-Shell Nuts
All our nuts are of the highest
quality and make great treats for the birds, the family and guests. All
nut products have a very high turnover and they are cold stored to maintain
freshness.
Storage
Hint: Nuts should be stored in an airtight container and kept in a
cool, dry place. Nuts can be stored 3 to 6 months in the refrigerator and
from 6 to 12 months in the freezer. The range in storage time depends upon
the type of nut, with brazil nuts being on the lower end and almonds being on
the higher end. In order to keep your nuts fresh under cold-stored
conditions, you must store them in a container that is airtight and keeps the
contents dry.
