Parakeet Toys All
the toys in the category are made from plastic and/or acrylic and
in most instances are very easy to clean and disinfect. Most
of these toys, by means of movable or spinning parts, promote
interactive play. All the toys in this category are
recommended for parakeets and birds of a similar size.
Certain toys can also be given to cockatiel sized birds and this
will be noted in the item description.
2 Rung Ladder 
This
plastic ladder is 6" long and 2.25" wide. It hooks over a
perch or on the cage bars. Three small plastic rings can be moved back
and forth over a humped bar at the top. The two rungs are textured for

Sliding Pegs 
Sliding Pegs is approximately 2.25"
tall and 2.25" wide. The toy attaches securely to the cage bars
without any metal parts. Attached to the acrylic base are three brightly
colored pegs which can be pulled/pushed through the acrylic body.

Triangle Dangle 
Triangle Dangle is approximately
6" tall and 4" wide. This brightly colored toy has
spinning mirrors and sliding beads contained within brightly colored plastic
triangles. There are also two small bells at the bottom of the
toy. The toy components are held together with plastic links and
attaches to the cage in the same manner. Bells can easily be removed
from this toy if desired. While the manufacturer does recommend this toy
for cockatiels, we would not. Our recommendation is for parakeets and
similar sized birds only .Sold

Hourglass Mirrors 
Hourglass Mirrors is approximately 8"
tall and 2" wide. The hourglass shaped body is made from thick
plastic and has two spinning mirrors and one rotating wheel. The bell at
the bottom is attached by a plastic link, which allows removal if
desired. The toy attaches to the cage in the same manner. Our
recommendation is for parakeets and similar sized birds only. Note
for Cockatiel sized birds: While the manufacturer also recommends
it for cockatiel sized birds, we DO NOT unless you change the hanging
implement. Our recommendation would be a large pear link. While it
would not fit through the original hole, it will slip over the hourglass body
close to the center and slide up to the top. You would need to hang it
with the wide side down but it would be a safer and more secure way of
attaching the toy to the cage. Large pear links can be found in our

The Wave 
The Wave is approximately
8" tall and 3.5" wide. This has a number of moving on the
"S" shaped body. There are two spinning mirrors which are
positioned within circles that swing around the body. There is also
another swinging circle with beads that can be moved up and down. The
bell is attached by a plastic link, which allows removal if desired. The
toy attaches to the cage in the same manner. Our recommendation is for
parakeets and similar sized birds only. Note
for cockatiel sized birds: While the manufacturer also recommends
it for cockatiel sized birds, we DO NOT unless you change the hanging
implement. Our recommendation would be a large pear link which fits
right through the hole at the top of the body. Large pear links can be
found in our hardware section under toy parts. We would also recommend
the removal of the bell which is way too small for a cockatiel.Sold

Olympia Rings
This ring toy consists of several
brightly colored transparent rings. The rings are well made and have an
approximate thickness of 3/16". This is a great "beat up"
toy for birds that love to abuse their toys. All rings are molded
closed so you don't have to worry about them falling off. Approximate
toy dimensions - 11" long and 2" wide. Recommended for
Parakeets and birds of a similar size. Note
for cockatiel sized birds: While the manufacturer also recommends
it for cockatiel sized birds, we DO NOT unless you change the hanging
implement. Our recommendation would be a large pear link which
will easily slip over the top ring for hanging.

Spinning Mirrors
This toy is absolutely adorable
and is pefect for the vain bird! What bird doesn't love mirrors??
Birds talk to them, grumble at them and sing to them. This vibrantly
colored toy has three two-sided mirrors are that located on a central
pole. To make things more interesting, this pole spins round and
round. There appear to be no metal parts on this toy and the body
attaches securely to the cage bars. Our tiel, Kula, has one inside his
cage now and is having a ball with it!Sold

Birdie Bath
This has to be the most well made
bird bath we have ever seen! It's not like your typical thin plastic
bird baths that sit inside the cage. This is a heavy, well-made, molded
one that should hold up to multiple small bird usage without tipping
over. The rim around the tub is wide and makes perching very easy.
The bottom of the bath is wide and has four feet which protrude out beyond the
rim and give the bath great support. The bath is fairly shallow
and can also be used for finches. Approximate measurements:
6" long, 2.5" wide and can hold about 5/8" of water. It
cleans up easily and comes in a variety of bright colors. This bath is
recommended for finches, parakeets, cockatiels and birds of a similar
size.

Would you love to have your little guy
spending time with you while you get things accomplished? Need company while
you are on the computer or doing chores? Not up to lugging the playgym
around the house or is space too limited? This perch is the
solution! It's small, light and inexpensive. It is made from thick
tubing and has brightly colored beads inside. Two suction cups at each
end allow the perch to be stuck on almost any flat surface. Stick it on
the table, desk, the counter or on the window for a first-hand view of the
great outdoors!. It also eliminates the need for a shower perch - This
perch will stick right on the wall! Approximate measurements:
8.5" long and 5.5" as packaged. Recommended for finches,
parakeets and cockatiels. Important
Note: The packaging comes with a photo of a parakeet
sitting on the perch which is stuck to the inside of a car window.
Please remember that birds should NEVER travel inside a car without being
inside a protective carrier and if at all possible, the carrier should be
strapped into the seat. Also please choose the perch location wisely,
avoiding areas where your bird can come into contact with the stove, standing
water, knives, irons, toxic plants, toxic chemicals or other items that can

Parakeet Playstand
Yes, I know this is not a
parakeet. Sorry, but I didn't have one handy so I used what I did have.
You're just going to have to use your imagination on this one. If you
stare at the pictures until you get cross-eyed, just maybe...
This playgym
is totally adorable. It makes me want to go run right out and get
parakeets (I hope my husband doesn't read this...can you say divorce?)
While I restrain myself and work through my parakeet craving, let me tell you
a little about this playgym.
There are three ways it can be
used: 1. As a portable playgym that sits on a flat surface (see
top photos); 2. Attach it to the back of your cage. Cage and
playgym must be sitting on a flat surface (see bottom photos); and 3. Attached
to the top of the cage. Your cage must have a flat top to do this.
No photos for this one as Kula's outdoor shower cage has a dome top. Now
you need to use your imagination and picture Kula as a parakeet inside his
flat topped cage with the Playgym on top. Sorry for the extreme metal
workout. If somebody buys this and sends me photos, I will be happy to
add them!
There is no metal hardware on
this. All attaching hardware is big, easy to use plastic. Actually
everything on this is all plastic (except the bell) and easily cleaned.
Also, everything is removable, including the two yellow cups for food and
water. Now on to the fun things... There is an arched ladder that
your keet can climb on. There is also a straight ladder for climbing up
near the bell. There is a mirror to gaze into and spin, a bell to ring,
perches to sit on and an wheelie type thingy to rotate (see top left photo).
Now looking at the photos, you can
see that our pseudo-keet, Kula, is just having a good old time playing on
this. Can you imagine how much more fun a real keet that actually fits
on this would have?
