What is Paulie Rope™?
It is a bird-safe stringing material that is manufactured specifically for
the making of parrot toys. Paulie Rope™ consists of a polyethylene diamond braid made with a tight
tension and no center core. This rope is easy to knot and requires no
heating to keep the knot in place. The absence of the center core means even
less strands to tangle and fray. Paulie Rope™ is fully washable
and birds love to chew on it. It's also tough enough to stand up to macaws
and cockatoos.
Why Paulie Rope™
over other "Poly" ropes? Years of research and testing have
gone into the development of this product for the specific intent of making
bird toys. It has been university tested for safety and has been
used in bird toys since 1994 with a perfect safety record. Unlike other
poly ropes, this rope combines special soft fibers and a specific
manufacturing process to produce a tangle-free rope which will not harm birds
if swallowed. Paulie Rope™ is used
worldwide by some of the largest toy manufacturers in the industry and is the
rope of choice for some of the largest bird toy distributors.
