Polly Wanna Piñata
This is one of those toys your bird is going to LOVE and
you will definitely HATE! Your bird will love it for the shredding value
and you're going to hate it because you'll find shreds of it everywhere!
These toys are approximately 8" and are made of natural non-toxic materials
which are bird safe. Not only is it a valuable shredding tool, but like
the pinatas you remember from your childhood, these have the camouflaged
openings which allow you to stuff them with treats and surprises! Talk
about an incredible foraging experience! The Cactus, Unicorn and Donkey
come with treats (banana chips, raisins, pineapple & papaya) already
inside. For those of you who feed a natural diet, the fruit contains
preservatives which can be removed through the flap. You can then replace
it with something else of your choosing. The Parrot and the Rainbow come
empty. These toys have an attached strand of sisal which can be tied to
cage bars or on a perch. You can also fashion a small loop for

Parrot Pinatas
Do you really want to exercise, but don't have the time? YOU NEED THIS TOY!
You will be vacuuming several times a day and crawling under furniture to
retrieve these shreds. For a bonus workout, definitely get this if you have
cats. Cats love to bat the shreds around the house, assuring that you will
have more rooms to vacuum and more furniture to crawl under!
Additional benefits are that birds love these toys! These pinatas are made
from all natural plant material woven together for hours of shredding fun.
Once your bird shreds through the outside, there are tons of tightly wrapped
plant fibers to shred inside. Highly recommended for birds that pluck and
over-preen.
There are four sizes available: Small (7"x2"), Medium
(11"x3"), Large (14"x3")and X-Large (19"x4").
Choose your size according to your bird's size and chewing ability. Style may

Octopus
Pinatas
More vacuuming fun! These octopus pinatas have a slightly smaller body
than the comparative sizes shown in the item above. Instead, what they have
are an abundance of colorful braided palm leaves for some high quality
shredding. The components are the same as in the item above, with plenty of
natural fibers to work on inside the pinata body. Highly recommended for
birds that pluck and over-preen.
There are three sizes available: Small (8"x1.5"), Medium
(11"x2.5") and Large (14"x3"). Choose your size
according to your bird's size and chewing ability. Also keep in mind that
the small size can be used as a foot toy for larger parrots.

Balls
and Stars
As with the other pinata toys, these are made with all natural plant
fibers. The balls, like the pinatas above, have more natural chewing
material tucked away inside. The stars are made from ingeniously folded
palm leaves. While these toys will not last as long as the pinatas, we
have found them to be easier to introduce to shy birds. These toys come in
Large (approximately 20" long) and Small (approximately 17"
long). Choose your size according to toy acceptance and chewing abilities.

Shredders

This is one of those items with 101 uses that no flock should be
without! Shredders is a 30 foot roll of tightly woven natural palm leaf
that birds love to shred and preen. They can be cut into strips and
knotted, then tied to perches or cages. If you like making your own
toys, this is an inexpensive way to add preening material, which is
great for pluckers. Knot it repeatedly into a ball and use as a foot
toy, maybe adding some beads or plastic parts for color. Stuff them into
foraging toys along with nuts and wood. The possibilities are endless.
My personal favorite is really simple: I have a reel in the bird
playroom with a pair of scissors and just snip off small sections and
hand them out. No effort, no thought and no creative energy necessary!
This is wonderful for me after a long day of stringing toys. Another
quick trick is to stuff some lengths into the Birdie Bites (the cones)
or thread them through some Bitty Bagels

Rainbow Shredders
These shredders come in a bright color
mix which is difficult to ignore, even by the most finicky parrot.
You have a choice of two sizes: Large (approximately 1.5"
wide) and small (approximately 1" wide). Each roll is 30 feet.
