Simple Sprouts w/GHV Now there's no excuse for not feeding your bird nutritious live foods!  Simple sprouts are easy and super fast to prepare. Simple Sprouts also come with an added bonus of GHV, a greens, herbs and veggie topping.   The directions are really easy to follow:  Measure the desired amount of sprouts into a colander and rinse until the water runs clear.  Place colander (with sprouts inside) into a large bowl (stainless works well) and fill with water (approximately 3 parts water to 1 part sprouts) as shown in the photo above.  Let sit on the counter for 12-15 hours or refrigerate for 24 hours.  Rinse and drain the sprouts again, sprinkle with GHV (if desired) and feed.  It's just that simple!    . Please follow the directions carefully and do not feed uncooked or unsprouted beans to birds as it can cause them gastric distress.  The sprouting times above provide for germination and possibly a "small tail".  Simple Sprouts Ingredients:  Adzuki beans, barley, brown rice, garbanzo beans, green lentils, green peas, moong beans, mung beans, pumpkin seeds, red lentils, red wheatberries, sunflower seeds and white wheatberries.
