Rope
Our sisal rope is natural and
untreated. This means the rope has not been treated, chemicals were not
used in the manufacturing process, it is unbleached and unoiled. All our
rope is metered for accuracy of measurement and comes neatly coiled. Important
Note: In an effort to settle the ongoing debate about using
"natural" sisal rope from hardware stores, we contacted the
manufacturer who supplies Home Depot and Lowe's with their rope under various
label. They emphatically stated that under NO circumstances should any
sisal they manufacture be used for pets. There you have it folks -
straight from the source! Additional
Notes: Pet-safe sisal does have a plant/earthy smell to it. The
newer the rope, the stronger the smell. It does dissipate over
